Wynonna’s education revolved around music, and there was no holding her back after she acquired a guitar. She and her mother moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1979 to try and break into the music industry, but it wasn’t until 1983 that they signed a deal with RCA Records, and in collaboration with this record company, the duo subsequently released eleven albums selling over 20 million copies, and 26 singles of The Judds reached the top of the pops, by at least entering the charts. In about eight years, they also won a myriad of country music awards, before Naomi had to retire, suffering from hepatitis E. The Judds ended their performances in 1991, but had been very successful and added large revenues to their respective net worths.
