There are numerous variables that can affect the outcome of a race, and because the monstrous automobiles have absurd amounts of horsepower, keeping them on the track is often the most difficult obstacle most drivers face.

Shannon Poole, a long-time Street Outlaws racer, had a similar experience.

A few years ago, the SO: New Orleans track maven competed in the Gulfport Dragway’s Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras Blowout.

The Pascagoula, Mississippi native attended the competition in his signature, gorgeous 1964 Corvette (which is outfitted with nitrous oxide).

Shannon takes off in an impressive fashion, gaining a strong lead at the start of the race, which was broadcast on Facebook.

Shannon’s vehicle then rolled off the tarmac and into the closure zone. The explosion was most likely caused by the vehicle’s fuel lines being severed during impact.

Emergency personnel was able to respond quickly and attend to the crash site, with Shannon’s safety being their primary concern.

What Is Shannon Pole Net Worth?

Poole’s total net worth is estimated to be around $500,000 in 2022.

He collaborates with his friend Crazy Dave on the majority of his projects. Shannon’s father also assists them on occasion.

With so many skilled hands on deck, it should only be a matter of time before Big Dookie scores big in the small tire list.

Shannon gained another source of income when Street Outlaws: New Orleans premiered in 2016.

Although his salary from Discovery Channel has not been disclosed, we are confident that it is sufficient to cover the cost of many Chevelle parts. We wish him the best of luck in future races.
