In a delightful turn of events, Niki Chow, the 39-year-old actress, took to Instagram on December 17 to reveal a secret that had been expertly concealed from the public eye. The talented artist officially declared her marital union with the distinguished Chinese actor, Chengpeng Fu, aged 45. While the announcement came in December, insiders suggest that the clandestine wedding ceremony transpired around the close of November, adding an air of intrigue to the joyous revelation.

The union between Fu and Chow traces back to their collaboration in the 2014 Mainland drama, “Undercover,” where their on-screen chemistry convincingly portrayed the dynamics of a married couple. Interestingly, during this period, Fu was in a matrimony with actress Cheng Hao, resulting in the birth of their son. However, the couple decided to part ways amicably, finalizing their divorce in 2017 after two decades of marriage.

Rumors and Speculations

Media scrutiny intensified when Fu and Chow were captured sharing a dinner in Hong Kong three months after Fu’s divorce. This led to speculations, suggesting that Chow might have played a role as the third party in Fu’s previous marriage. Swiftly addressing these rumors, Kathy, Niki Chow’s older sister, staunchly defended her sister, refuting all allegations and vehemently dismissing any insinuation of a shotgun wedding.

Chow herself dispelled the pregnancy rumors when approached by the media, responding with a casual “No la” via text.

Intimate Celebration Amidst Nature’s Embrace

The couple opted for an intimate wedding ceremony held overseas, with only their closest family members in attendance, according to reports from Sina. The discreet affair showcased the couple’s preference for privacy and a genuine celebration of their love amidst the serene beauty of an undisclosed location.

Navigating Love’s Journey

Niki Chow, often hailed as the ‘ultimate bachelorette,’ had a romantic history that included a prolonged relationship with fellow TVB actor Kevin Cheng, which concluded in 2008. Subsequently, she was romantically linked to Chinese actor Jeremy Xu until their reported separation in 2015.

As Chengpeng Fu takes center stage as Niki Chow’s life partner, the couple’s devoted journey into matrimonial bliss invites heartwarming wishes from fans and well-wishers. The revelation of their union adds a delightful chapter to Niki Chow’s personal narrative, showcasing love’s resilience and the joy of new beginnings.
