Sometimes it feels good to be referred to as the wife of one of the most attractive and successful men in the entertainment industry and Khatira Rafiqzada isn’t taking this role lightly. She caught the attention of the American actor Michael Ealy, even while he was still married to his first wife and now they enjoy the company of each other as husband and wife.

Aside from being the wife of a star actor, Khatira Rafiqzada has also managed to create her own niche in the world of entertainment as one of the characters that are bound to seize the industry with shock with her mind-blowing roles in such movie as Chain Letter and Layla. Let’s find out more about the Afghan-American actress.

Where is Khatira Rafiqzada From?

Khatira Rafiqzada who belongs to Asian ancestry was born in the United States on January 8, 1981. Although reports about her parents and childhood period are kept away from public knowledge, there are reports that she is a practising Muslim and her parents have Iranian background with their ancestral origins traced back to the Middle East.

Prior to her professional acting career, Rafiqzada reportedly engaged herself in several odd jobs some of which were at some restaurants in both Los Angeles and New York. She became a notable figure in the TV with her role as Zola in the 2009 short film Layla. The same year, she starred in the American horror film, Chain Letter which was directed by Deon Taylor. Although the movie featured a good number of star actors and actresses like Nikki Reed (featuring as Jessica “Jessie” Campbell), Cody Kasch (appearing as Neil Conners) and Keith David (who acted as Detective Jim Crenshaw), to mention but a few, the movie appeared not to have fared well in the box office. $3 million was budgeted for the movie but it only made about $585,362.

After her roles in the above-mentioned films, Rafiqzada apparently took a break from acting and it’s not yet known what career or business she is into. While her net worth and annual earnings are still kept away from the public, there is no doubt that the American actress must have earned well for her role in the 2009 films.
