Quick Facts About Maneet Chauhan

Who Is Maneet Chauhan’s Husband, Vivek Deora?

Maneet Chauhan tied the marital knot with her husband, Vivek Deora, on May 29, 2007.

Vivek Deora is a celebrity spouse who gained notoriety after marrying the well-known chef and television personality Maneet Chauhan.

He is a well-known entrepreneur and businessperson by trade. Maneet is married to Vivek Deora, a fellow chef and restaurateur who has worked in 8 countries and run 23 restaurants. He also received his degree in hospital administration from Manipal University and initially met Maneet there.

In Nashville, Tennessee, he is most recognized for being a co-founder of the Morph Hospitality Group. The couple’s romantic history is little known, although Maneet and Vivek are said to have exchanged vows in 2007.

The husband and wife are compared to two sides of a coin in their relationship. Vivek Deora, Maneet Chauhan’s partner and spouse, stands behind every enterprise she builds and works tirelessly in the background.

The ideal complement for Maneet is Vivek, who is always well dressed, well-groomed with a moustache and trimmed beard, and equipped with an equally energizing desire for achieving in the culinary world.

In India’s Jaipur, Vivek was born to a physician. But he had no desire to pick up a book, much less pursue a career in medicine like his father.

Instead of studying, Maneet’s husband spent most of his time working in coffee shops. Deora excelled in the food and hotel industries, and by the time he was 24 years old, he oversaw a 28,000-square-foot food production company that employed more than 100 people.

Any relationship has highs and lows, and Chauhan and Deora’s were no different. While attending college in Manipal, India, the two became friends. However, the couple then had to deal with a distance relationship. Chauhan could not leave India, so they had to develop a long-distance relationship.

The couple persisted, and in 2007 they were finally married. They exchanged vows in Lake Tahoe on May 28, 2007, in front of their loved ones. The famous chef uploaded a photo gallery video of her wedding day with her spouse on the same day in 2022.

But In the Tournament of Champions II, after her mother won the trophy, she was super excited and was jumping around. Shagun is quite fond of her mother, Maneet’s cooking, and tries to imitate her in the kitchen.

As of 2022, Shagun is currently ten years old. She was born on July 16, 2011. However, Sagun’s place of birth is not disclosed in the media. On her birthday, her mother also wished her in her Instagram post, writing a sweet message.

On the other hand, Karma is Shagun’s younger brother. He is just six years old. Karma is three years smaller than his sister and a huge fan of his mother’s cooking.

The culinary professional went to one of India’s top colleges, Manipal University, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in hotel management, intending to shine in the culinary industry.

Later, Maneet relocated to New York to enroll in the Culinary Institute of America to further her culinary knowledge.

The professional chef worked as an apprentice cook in India for the Oberoi Group, Taj Group, Welcome Group, and Sheraton Group. The chef was a manager for a newly opened restaurant in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, just after graduating in 2000. She oversaw staff and increased the restaurant’s capacity from 70 to 140 seats.

She was hired as the inaugural executive chef at Vermilion in Chicago, Illinois, in 2003 at 27, earning her three stars from The Chicago Tribune. She relocated to NYC in 2007 to start At Vermilion, where she was named Time Out Magazine’s “Best Import to New York.” Her cooking is called “global fusion,” with Indian food as its foundation.
