Justin Taylor Philips Net Worth $700,000

Justin had an interesting childhood, as his family moved to Hong Kong at one point in his childhood, but regardless, he was raised in a large musical family which influenced him to develop his interest in music. As a young man he returned to the USA, this time to New York, where he studied economics in college. Even though his attraction to music started out as a hobby, Phillips eventually decided to leave school and pursue a musical career. His first EP “Ghosts” was released in 2013, and was well accepted by the public, reaching no.1 on Dubstep.net charts, entered the top 10 on Hype Machine, and no.18 iTunes Dance Charts, which really established his net worth.

It was then that Justin also started posting music to his SoundCloud account regularly, and the first single that he released on it was “The Moon is Falling Down”. A year later he released his second EP entitled “Angels”, which incorporated reflective lyrics and more atmospheric music in comparison to his previous work. That same year he cooperated with Canadian electronic musician Ianborg to release “Runaway”. However, as the EDM scene grew, so did Justin’s sound, and he decided to opt for a more personal expression and artistic emotional connection expressed through his music. Continuing with the development of his sound, Philips released two new albums in 2015 on his Okami label – “Dysphoria”, described as an atmospheric journey and “Cataclasm”, described as sweeping and lush. Both were recorded in Iceland and inspired by the lands icy atmosphere. They also brought Justin acknowledgement among both the public and other prolific EDM DJs such as Skrillex. That same year in November, he also presented his debut studio album – “Cataclasm” – to his personal SoundCloud account and iTunes. His net worth benefited again.

When it comes to his personal life, Philips is still believed to be single – there is no public information regarding possible romantic associations. He has stated that he grew up fighting bipolar disorder and depression, and often turned to music as a source of inspiration and help in difficult times.
