What Is The Age Gap Between Tom Cumming With His Brother Alan Cumming

The age gap between his brother Alan and Tom Camming is eight years. The brothers had a challenging childhood due to their father.

Despite the age gap, the brothers were always there for each other as they had a very difficult childhood.

Alan’s autobiography Not My Father’s Son mentioned the mental and physical brutality their father perpetrated on him and Tom in their childhood.

Their mother found it impossible to secure a divorce until she was financially independent.

Cumming claimed that he did not speak to his father again until just before the Who Do You Think You Are episode in which he appeared was being filmed. Then he learned that his dad had thought Cummings wasn’t his biological son.

So, Tom and his brother later underwent DNA testing, establishing that they were his biological children.

Their rough upbringing taught them how to behave as young boys because they ought to suppress their emotions and feelings around their father.
