Disha Salian parents, Vasanti and Satish Salian, have been through a lot since their beloved daughter’s untimely demise.

Disha Salian was a well-known Indian celebrity manager who had a roster of high-profile clients, including the late film star Sushant Singh Rajput.

In a tragic turn of events, Disha Salian lost her life on 9 June 2020, when she allegedly fell from the 14th floor of her fiancé’s apartment in Malad, Mumbai.

Following her death, an extensive investigation was conducted by the Mumbai Police. A year later, they concluded that there was no evidence of foul play and declared her death a suicide.

However, recently the case took a new turn when the state government decided to form a Special Investigation Team to further probe into her death.

The team is reportedly set to examine the involvement of Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray and UBT Sena MLA Sunil Prabhu in the case.

The Salian family has since stated that looking back on the tragic incident that occurred years ago causes them great pain.

Who Are Disha Salian Parents: Vasanti Salian And Satish Salian?

Satish Salian and Vasanti Salian are the parents of the late Indian celebrity manager Disha Salian.

The Salian family has been living through a nightmare for the past three years, ever since the tragic death of their daughter, Disha Salian.

The grieving parents have been slowly healing and trying to adjust to life without their beloved daughter.

However, the wound was reopened when the Maharashtra government announced the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe into Disha Salian’s death case.

As mentioned above, the SIT is expected to look into the “accidental” death of Disha Salian, the former manager of Sushant Singh Rajput, as well as Aaditya Thackeray’s purported involvement.

Following this Disha Salian’s father, Satish Ishwar Salian, expressed his feelings about the investigation.

Mr. Salian said he wouldn’t know what exactly happened that night because he wasn’t present at the location of the incident. He said it has always seemed like an accident to him.

“However, if the authorities suspect foul play and wish to investigate, they should ensure those responsible are brought to justice,” added the heartbroken father.

Revisiting The Incident Is Painful For The Salian Family

Revisiting the tragic incident is painful for Satish Salian and his family.

He said, “It is very painful to recall what happened and reopens old wounds each time.”

Mr. Salian went on to say that it disturbs them, but they have to respond to queries regarding their late daughter.

“We had also said last time that whatever was to happen has happened, now let us live in peace,” stated Disha’s dad.

Moreover, Satish Salian has also been battling health issues for a long time.

As reported by the Times of India, Salian’s dad suffered from a paralytic stroke years before the tragic incident. In addition, his left leg developed a serious infection, requiring surgery which cost around 10 lakh.

He now runs a small business making and selling chutney. Nonetheless, the Salian family continues to seek justice for their daughter while trying to heal and move forward.

The formation of the SIT has given them a glimmer of hope that justice will be served.

Despite the pain and the constant media attention, they continue to honor their daughter’s memory and fight for justice.
