Wanya Morris’ parents became very popular online when Wanyá Morris’ son performed for the Boyz II Men with their group WanMor, ushering in a new age of R&B. The brothers talk about being signed to Mary J. Blige’s record label, performing at the Grammys, and being in Adriana Diaz’s company.

Wanya Morris, born Wanyá Jermaine Morris, is an American singer best known as a member of the R&B group Boyz II Men. The singer rose to prominence after appearing on season 22 of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” Morris struggled as a youngster since he was reared in a dysfunctional family, but music brought important consolation. He sang in the school choir with his future bandmates while attending the prestigious Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA). In 1987, the singer joined the group’s first iteration, Unique Attraction. This young, outstanding vocal trio went through various changes over the next several months, eventually changing their name to reflect the song “Boys to Men.” Since then, the trio has published 12 albums and received four Grammy Awards, making them one of the most well-known R&B groups in history. Morris is also a solo artist. In June 2007, he dropped the mixtape “Unreleased.”

Wanya Morris’ Parents Carla Morris and Dallas Thornton

Carla Morris and Dallas Thornton, Wanya Morris’ parents, gave birth to the brilliant vocalist on July 29, 1973, in their birthplace of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Surprisingly, Wanya Morris’ parents never married and divorced while the singer was a little lad. The artist was not the family’s only kid. Wanya Morris and her husband have three additional children. Wanya and his three siblings were reared by their single mother after their parents divorced. Unfortunately, there aren’t many facts about Wanya Morris’s parents’ occupations or locations on the internet.

Morris had a strong interest in music as a child. He had an early interest in painting and the arts, in addition to music. The singer was previously married to his lovely wife, Traci Nash, for more than two decades. The pair’s friendship seemed to be indestructible until everything abruptly altered.

Morris and Traci have not updated their followers on how they initially met, but the pair married on May 11, 2002, after dating for several years. The singer divorced his first wife, Traci, for unexplained reasons and is now married to his second wife, Amber Reyes. Amber Reyes and Boyz II member Morris were married in a private ceremony on September 8, 2019.

Wanya Morris Net Worth

Wanya Morris has a net worth of more than $60 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Morris made a long-term commitment to the band Unique Attraction in 1987. The Boston-based R&B group New Edition had a big effect on the band. So it was only natural for them to alter their name to Boyz II Men. Boyz II Men was formed in 1988, and a record contract was offered to them in 1989.

With “One Sweet Day,” the singer and band broke Elvis Presley’s record for most weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. The band is also just the third performer to dethrone itself from the top of the list. They were the fourth-most profitable musical act in the 1990s, according to Billboard magazine. Boyz II Men have four Grammy Awards to their name, and their most recent album, Collide, is set to be released in late 2014. Morris was confirmed as one of the notable candidates for season 22 of Dancing with the Stars on March 8, 2016. The singer appeared in the Christmas special A Very Boy Band Holiday in December 2021. He also performed as part of I Can See Your Voice in March 2022.
