Elizabeth Helgelien now is married to real estate businessman Tiger Helgelien. She was previously married to Daniel Halseth, who was murdered in April 2021.

Sierra Halseth is the daughter of former Senate Republican Elizabeth Halseth, now Elizabeth Helgelien, after marrying businessman Tiger Helgelien.

Elizabeth was elected to the Nevada Senate in 2010 and served until 2012, becoming the state’s youngest female State Senator at the age of 27.

Where Is Elizabeth Helgelien Now?

According to her Twitter, Elizabeth Helgelien now lives in Las Vegas with his businessman husband, Tiger Helgelien. She even posted Happy Mother’s Day on the International mother’s day eve.

Her Twitter bio reads, “former Nevada State Senator, Mom, Proud wife to @TigerHelgelien, Believer, and Youngest female State Senator in Nevada’s history.”

The former lawmaker divorced Mr. Halseth in 2012 and resigned from her elected position the same year. She cited the demands of being a single mother.

Mr. Halseth was arrested in 2011 on suspicion of “open and gross lewdness” against her. The couple had been married for 11 years and had three children together.

Halseth first ran for office in the Nevada Assembly. She changed her campaign goals to the Nevada Senate at the last minute.

Halseth participated in Maxim’s “Hot 100” photo contest in a bikini in May 2012, following her February resignation from the Senate.

Elizabeth did not win the “Hot 100” contest, but Maxim later profiled her in October 2012. On March 16, 2001, Halseth tied the knot with Daniel Halseth.

Daniel Halseth Murder and Affair Case

The daughter of Daniel Haleth and Elizabeth Helgelien was pled not guilty in court to her father’s murder charges. Her boyfriend Aaron also pled the same.

Investigators believe the teenagers murdered Sierra’s father, Daniel Halseth, and attempted to dismember and burn his body.

The Halseth family has previously been in the spotlight. Sierra’s mother, Elizabeth Halseth, is a former Nevada State Senator.

The couple’s tumultuous relationship also made headlines, which ended in divorce. However, Elizabeth later married her boyfriend, Tiger Helgelien.

Daniel received about 70 stab wounds and cuts during the fatal attack and subsequent “mutilation.”

In addition to murder, the teenagers faced charges of conspiracy, arson, robbery, and credit card fraud.

According to court documents, Daniel Halseth’s body was discovered April 9 in the garage of his northwest Las Vegas home, near Durango and Alta drives, “burned from head to toe.”

Furthermore, Daniel’s body was stuffed in a sleeping bag before being set on fire, resulting in burns to about 40% of his body.
