The late United States Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle has a younger brother named Jeff Kyle, a household name since recently. Better recognized as a former US Marine Corps Sergeant, Jeff, along with the Kyle family, has preserved the memory of his brave brother.

As a U.S. Navy SEAL who completed four deployments in Iraq, Chris has wide prominence for having committed up to 160 kills, 91 of which the military verified. Unfortunately, Chris was fatally shot in Texas by a Marine he was attempting to assist.

In order to carry on Chris’ legacy, Jeff enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and spent six years in the infantry and two years in recon. He is currently a Waco police officer and a veteran of the Marine Corps, alongside running the American Valor Foundation as its co-founder.

Kyle Brothers Longest Shot Comparison

Chris and Jeff were both excellent personalities in the military, particularly in the shooting. Let us compare these two brothers in terms of their longest shots.

Chris Kyle was such a proficient shooter that he took down an enemy fighter from 1.2 miles away—or 21 football fields—with a single shot. In Sadr City, eastern Baghdad, Iraq, in 2008, the hero fired the longest sniper shot in history while he guarded a descending US Army convoy. According to D Magazine, it was the eighth-longest sniper kill shot ever officially recorded. Later, Kyle minimized the long-range kill by calling it a “very, really lucky shot.”

On the other hand, Jeff was a rifle and pistol instructor in the Marine Corps, signifying his dexterousness in shooting. Though statistics on the distance of his shots haven’t been released yet, we can assume that he was an adept shooter.
