After the NBA athlete Andrew Wiggins decided to opt-out of vaccination due to religious exemptions, many are curious to know his religion. Is Wiggins Christian?

Andrew Christian Wiggins is a Canadian professional basketball player who currently plays for Golden State Warriors in the NBA.

After being the first overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft, Wiggins started his professional career with Minnesota Timberwolves.

Later after five successful and impressive seasons with the Timberwolves, he was traded and moved to his current team Golden State Warriors.

Wiggins, having displayed impressive plays has established himself as a top player in the team.

Now, there are concerns that he might not be able to play every game after he decided not to get vaccinated.

While addressing the situation, San Fransisco Chronicle reports that the player can remain unvaccinated only after the media or religious exemption is allowed by the league.

Following this several people are curious to know about the religious exemption as well as Andrew Wiggins’ religion.

Andrew Wiggins Religion: Is He Christian?

Despite the NBA athlete took the religious exemption, the details regarding Andrew Wiggins’ religion still remains a mystery.

He might be a Christian or of any other religion as well.

But considering the fact that more than 70 per cent of the total population of Canada is Christian, the thoughts are inclining to that religion.

Similarly, the fact that he has Christian in his middle name might also hint towards Wiggins being Christian by religion.

However, there is no confirmation about his religion on the internet and the player also hasn’t given any such clues on his social media.

In fact, Andrew has not uploaded any pictures that indicate the player celebrating any certain festival or religious occasion.

Hence, it is quite hard to pinpoint his religion and religious beliefs at the moment.
