Tony DeAngelo, an American professional ice hockey defenceman, has been suspended several times over his career for racist remarks and official abuse.

Tony DeAngelo is a professional ice hockey defenseman for the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes (NHL).

He is a defenseman who has formerly played for the Arizona Coyotes and the New York Rangers.

He joined the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders at the age of 14 and was the USHL’s youngest player ever.

After that, he was taken in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection Draft by the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League.

He was dealt with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in 2015. He was named CHL Defenceman of the Year and received the Max Kaminsky Trophy.

What Happened With Tony Deangelo?

New York Rangers defenseman Tony DeAngelo shut down his personal account, presumably in protest of Twitter’s decision to ban President Donald Trump.

He announced that he was relocating to Parler, a right-wing social media platform that was involved in the planning of the domestic terrorist assault on January 6, 2021.

Parler has since been removed from Google Play, and Apple has been given 24 hours to implement “a complete moderation plan.”

DeAngelo isn’t the only Trump admirer in the NHL, but he’s clearly one of the most outspoken and, frankly, the most disgraceful.t.

Despite his success in the NHL, DeAngelo has a long history of problems.

He has been suspended from the NHL for verbal abuse directed at a referee while with the Arizona Coyotes.

Tony Deangelo Racist Allegation

During his time in the Ontario Hockey League and the National Hockey League, Tony DeAngelo received a lot of controversy for making racist remarks about teammates.

In his junior hockey days in the OHL, the controversial former New York Rangers defenseman was suspended for harsh behavior.

He was suspended for eight games at the start of the 2013-12 season for breaking the league’s harassment and abuse/diversity policy. In the OHL, this was his second suspension.

His first suspension was kept private by the team. DeAngelo has been suspended for two games again during that season for abusing an official.

DeAngelo was suspended for three games in 2017 after assaulting a referee.

He was also fined $14,388.90 for failing to pay the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.

Tony Deangelo Deletes His Twitter Account

Tony DeAngelo expressed his support for former President Donald Trump on Twitter during the pandemic. It received unfavorable feedback from audiences all across the world.

The 2020 presidential election, according to Tony, is rigged. He also used Twitter to ask about the seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic.

After Trump was banned from Twitter, Tony canceled his account. He stated that he would join Parler, a conservative social media platform.

DeAngelo has always been outspoken on social media, and he’s been a vocal admirer of President Donald Trump.

His  Twitter activity isn’t simply about the president’s removal; he’s been vocal with his tweets and expressive with likes and retweets up until now.

DeAngelo’s activities appear to contradict his past claims about what he would do if President Trump lost the election.
