What Happened To Chris On Deadliest Catch?

Deadliest Catch’s Chris previously almost succumbed to a dangerous case of dehydration while working under Captain Keith Colburn.

He had been operating diligently as much as possible when the situation turned for the worse. So, what exactly went downhill at that time.

While sailing the Bering Sea to snap up Alaskan King Crab, Chris started experiencing shooting pains in his neck and arms while working on the show.

It wasn’t long before his subtle pains turned into petrifying convulsions that left the brow crew unsure of what to do, so he was safe.

The boat had no doctor, and his health was doing nothing but going downhill quickly. Chris Scambler started to agitate and shake.

With the situation getting worse every minute, Captain Keith Colburn took hold of the situation to make him safe.

In the concrete, Captain made the quick yet difficult decision to call in a medevac to have Chris airlifted off of the Wizard for his safety.

Captain’s initial plan was that after the medevac airlifts him, the coast guard would take him to a nearby hospital where he would be able to rehydrate.

Dehydration is in fact, nothing to mess with, especially when you are doing hard physical work. If not it can be the end of someone’s life.

While Chris was about to get removed from the Wizard, Chris said sorry to Captain Keith for being an inconvenience to the entire crew.

Deadliest Catch Chris Suffered From Dehydration

Chris of Deadliest Catch suffered from dehydration on the reality show while the crab boat Wizard was sailing the Bering Sea to catch an Alaskan King Crab.

The incident took place a decade back in 2012. The crab boat Wizard’s new crewmate had a horrific near to death experience on the show.

The newcomer ended up in a highly fragile shape after a grueling day on the high seas. He began to convulse in no time due to dehydration.

It was a lucky day for Chris Scambler to have a great crew behind him who took the prompt decision amidst the chaotic situation.

Furthermore, the things we see the crew do in the boat on the reality show are so dangerous that they can cost someone’s life.
