Vibe (If I Back It Up) is the new trend that is going viral on TikTok gaining millions of views. Here are some details bout the song and the challenge.

If you’ve spent any time on TikTok this year, you’ve almost certainly heard Cookiee Kawaii’s breakout hit “Vibe (If I Back It Up).”

It’s a song that was unintentionally written for TikTok fans.

It is a sharp earworm full of playful sounds (bed creaks and snare cracks) and a stop-start Jersey club beat perfect for the app’s edited jump-cuts.

“Vibe,” which clocks in at less than 90 seconds, is a breezy summer jam that was gaining traction even before the humidity arrived.

Vibe (If I Back It Up) TikTok Song & Lyrics

Vibe (If I Back It Up) is a song sung by the singer Cookiee Kawaii.

Cookiee Kawaii got her to start in the Jersey club scene in 2011.

Her club-ready banger that implores listeners to “throw. it. back” helped her breakthrough in the mainstream in 2020.

TikTok users did just that, posting videos of themselves, their friends and family, and even their pets proving that, yes, it is fat enough.

The detailed lyrics about the song are written on Genius.com.

The song sung by the star Kawaii has made TikTok go crazy over the moves that are been performed on the song.

Kawaii’s song is the ideal twerk anthem because it is solely about twerking.

It sets the tone for Cookiee Kawaii to go beyond a viral moment, as directed by Frank and Ivanna Borin.

She goes beyond the trends her song has spawned to re-contextualize it on her terms, referencing Azealia Banks and Missy Elliott’s inventive, style-forward visuals.

While the song was released a year while the video was only recently released in August 2020.
