Singer | Who Was The Father Of Sufjan Stevens, Rasjid Stevens- Did They Have A Good Relationship?

Rasjid Stevens was the father of American singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist, Sufjan Stevens. The 45-year-old artist recalled how his stepfather was more of a father fighter in his life rather than his biological father. As he got an education from a religious institution, he remained the coldhearted patriarch in his prime, making his children feel like tenants.

Indeed, Lowell, his stepfather, who was nothing more than an amateur musician, tried to mend the burnt bridges with Sufjan’s mother, arranging phone calls and monthly visits. He became his mentor as he brought him mixtapes and never missed a performance.
