Ric Flair is a retired American professional wrestler and wrestling manager with a net worth of $500 thousand. Flair had a career that spanned 50 years.

Ric Flair has been a professional wrestler since 1972 and is widely regarded as one of, if not THE, greatest of all time. He was inducted into the Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2008 and retired from the sport in July 2022.

For someone regarded as the greatest wrestler of all time, his net worth should be in the millions. His low net worth is due to some financial problems.

Ric Flair has had several run-ins with the IRS dating back to the early 1990s. The IRS served him with a lien for $870,000 in unpaid taxes in 2000.

The IRS began garnishing Flair’s WWE earnings in 2005. He blamed the problems on his second wife Elizabeth’s extravagant spending.

Ric allegedly failed to pay his full tax amounts for his earnings between 2016 and 2018, according to legal filings released in 2019.

According to the filing, he owed the federal government $240,000 and the state of Georgia $40,000. Rick also had a medical emergency in 2019 that necessitated heart surgery, leaving him with a reported $1.8 million medical bill that was not covered by insurance.
