Percy grew up in Virginia along with his older sister, helping their mother Linda run a daycare for children; she used to run track at Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach and Eastern Michigan University. Harvin’s athletic gift didn’t go unnoticed, as at the age 13 he played for coach Bruce Pearl and the Virginia Beach Mustangs Pop Warner football team, and led the team to a state championship. He was noted for his speed and his intelligent game play in the field, which led his high school team to achieve an excellent record in the game. Harvin then received an Athletic Scholarship to the University Of Florida, where he played from 2006 to 2008. During the freshman season, he was rewarded as SEC college freshman of the year.

Following the 2009 NFL Draft, Harvin signed a five year contract worth up to $14.5 million with the Minnesota Vikings, and went on to have a great first year in which he eventually succeeded being named as AP NFL Rookie of the year, and PFWA offensive rookie of the year. In 2013, he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks where he signed a new six year contract worth $25.5 million, and was in their Super Bowl winning team that season. However, in 2014 Harvin was traded to New York Jets where he also had a successful time on the field. He then signed a one year contract with the Buffalo Bills in 2015, and has been playing for the team since. His high value contract in big teams has added to his present net worth.

Despite his successful times on the field, Harvin frequently had problems regarding his health. He suffered from migraine and would pass out on the field due to the severity of pain. Even with migraine and concussion hampering his time on the field, Harvin has been setting new records since the start of his career, from becoming the Rookie of the Year to becoming Pro Bowl kick returner in 2010, Harvin has been a prominent figure in the field of American Football.

Regarding his personal life, there is no information on his marital status or even rumours of relationships, so presumably he is still single.
