She enquired about pursuing a career in real estate during her last year in college and waited until she graduated to start. Her focus was to obtain a license after she settled in Atlanta. At the time she was working for a technology company.

” I let my online real estate class lapse because I became content with the week-to-week checks corporate was providing. We had a huge layoff, and I, fortunately, was a part of that. I [poured] all my energy into real estate, finished my class and got my license within three weeks. Since then, I have been doing this full-time. Sometimes a big tragedy can turn into your biggest blessing.”
