At Indian Wells, world No. 43 Jenson Brooksby will meet world No. 26 Karen Khachanov in a second-round match that should have a second-week feel to it.

Khachanov may be a perfect opponent for Brooksby because of how hard he smacks the ball. The Russian will be swinging for the fences a lot, which can work in Brooksby’s favor.

Unforced errors will flow if Khachanov isn’t playing at a high level, and frustration will set in.

The local star will receive a lot of love from the audience, and given his warrior mindset, he’ll get a lot of it—another plus on his side of the ledger.
