Joshua Ryan Hutcherson, the American actor and producer who has graced the big screen with his talent and charisma, didn’t embark on his journey to Hollywood stardom alone.

Behind this gifted artist stands a supportive and loving family that includes his parents, Chris Hutcherson and Michelle Fightmaster Hutcherson.

Josh Hutcherson, born on October 12, 1992, in Union, Kentucky, is the elder son of Michelle  and Chris Hutcherson. Both of Josh’s parents share deep roots in Kentucky, where they were not only born but also raised.

Their story begins in Dry Ridge, where they met during their high school years.

From this humble Kentucky backdrop, the Hutcherson family would eventually find themselves on a journey into the world of entertainment and film.

Michelle Fightmaster Hutcherson, Josh’s mother, started her career at Delta Air Lines.  However, her life took a turn when her son’s passion for acting began to flourish.

Michelle transitioned from her role as an airline employee to a supportive figure in Josh’s career. Her guidance and dedication played a significant part in shaping her son’s early career, particularly as he ventured into the world of acting.

As Josh’s career blossomed, Michelle stood by his side, helping him navigate the challenges and opportunities that come with life in the entertainment industry. Her unwavering support and assistance have been instrumental in his success.

On the other side of the Hutcherson family is Chris Hutcherson, Josh’s father. He has had a successful career as an analyst for the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Chris’s expertise in environmental matters stands in contrast to his son’s world of entertainment.
