John Digweed Net Worth $48 million

John became interested in DJing while still being a teenager at the age of 15, when he began making a name in the music industry, organizing successful rave club nights on Hastings Pier in his home town. In 1993 he befriended colleague DJ Alexander Coe, known as Sasha, and the two began working together, circuiting clubs and heavily promoting the progressive house sound. In 1994, the duo released their first album entitled “Renaissance: The Mix Collection”, the first ever commercial nightclub compilation intentionally released for the market. All these involvements provided the basis for John Digweed’s net worth, and also helped him to establish himself in the world of DJing.

Sasha and John continued to release their mixtapes, through Northern Exposure series as well as Ministry of Sound series in the late 1990s. Subsequently, alongside Nick Mur, John Digweed began to release mixtapes under the alias Bedrock, including the hit remix “For What You Dream Of” which was featured in Danny Boyle’s now cult movie, “Trainspotting” (1996). In 1999, Digweed founded Bedrock Records, a record label through which he continued to release the progressive house compilations and his mixtapes. Certainly, all these ventures helped John Digweed to massively increase the total of his net worth.

Between 2000 and 2011, John regularly hosted a weekly, two-hour radio program on Kiss 100 radio station. In 2006, he launched a new series of mixtapes named Transitions while in 2008, Digweed and Sasha went on a Spring Club Tour across the US. In 2011, Digweed released a new series of CD mixtapes entitled Structures, while in 2012 his live album set hit the charts. By the end of 2016, John Digweed was ranked as No. 43 on the Top 100 DJs chart. Doubtlessly, all these accomplishments have helped John Digweed to earn an impressive amount of wealth.

When it comes to his personal life, John Digweed has managed to keep it quite private, as there aren’t any relevant details about his personal affairs when asked about marriage, he has said ‘Not yet!” Currently, he resides in London, UK, but also splits his time between New York City, Tokyo, Montreal and Sydney where he occasionally performs.
