As one of Victoria’s Secret’s foremost models back in the ’80s, Jill Goodacre’s career stint has etched her name in gold in America’s modeling space. The brand will remain indebted to the likes of Goodacre, Stephanie Seymour, and Frederique for establishing it as one of the worlds finest fashion brands and a go-to for female wears. But to call Jill Goodacre a model only, will be a rather short description.

This Texas-born beauty is also an actress and more importantly, the wife of Grammy and Emmy-award winning singer, composer, actor, and television host, Harry Connick Jr. Together, they have not only produced three beautiful daughters but have also collaborated on several music videos. This post turns the spotlight on Jill Goodacre’s bio, age, daughters, height and net worth. Voila.

Jill Goodacre’s Bio, Age

Jill Goodacre was born in Lubbock, Texas, on March 29, 1964, to the family of William and Glenna Maxey Goodacre. Her father works as a real estate broker while her mother is a renowned sculptor from Lubbock, who created the Vietnam Women’s Memorial statue for Veterans Memorial, Washington D.C as well as for the portrait of Sacagawea on the US Dollar coin. Although born in Lubbock, Goodacre and her brother, Tim, spent much of their childhood in Boulder, Colorado. Their parents, the Goodacres later divorced and Jill’s mother went on to marry Dallas Attorney C.L. Mike Schmidt.

Endowed with a stunning body and beauty, Jill Goodacre started off her modeling career in the late 1980s as one of Victoria’s Secret’s first models. In her heydays, she modeled alongside her friends, Dutch model Frederique, and Stephanie Seymour. Although there were a number of choices to make, Jill Goodacre mostly modeled swimwear, hosiery, and lingerie in Victoria’s Secret’s catalogs and quickly shot the new company into popularity. That came with other benefits too.

She started to feature in several catalogs, and retail store advertising and became the best-fit face for magazines such as Self, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, and Sassy. Modeling was the start, but Jill Goodacre could never tell what walking runaways would do to her future career and success. In 1994, She began to appear on TV shows like the David Letterman show, and also guest-appeared in one of the episodes of the famous situation comedy series, ‘Friends,’ where she was trapped with Chandler in an ATM vestibule. Although retired, Jill Goodacre continues to lend her expertise and influence to the many up and coming models in the US while staying out of the spotlight as much as she can. But being wife the wife of an equally famous husband isn’t making that easy at all.

Net Worth

Sources estimate Jill Goodacre’s net worth to be over $5 million. Although her days as a model are way behind her now, her streams of value and income have only multiplied. Plus, the goodwill and popularity she gained as an actress hasn’t faded in the eyes of the generation that best know her.

Harry Connick Jr Wife, Daughters

Like every love story, that first-meeting part always sticks. For Jill Goodacre and Harry Connick Jr, it was in 1990, by a pool at Los Angeles Sunset Marquee Hotel. They were attending a party. At the time, Connick was a popular New Orleans-bred big band crooner who propagated Gershwin on the soundtrack of When Harry Met Sally. His song, Jill, on his BlLight, Red Light album says so much about her.

They began a romantic relationship which culminated in a wedding four years later on April 16, 1994, at St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. Together they have raised three beautiful daughters; Georgia Tatom (b. April 17, 1996), Sarah Kate (b. September 12, 1997) and Charlotte (born June 26, 2002).
