One can actually find love in old age. Tying the knot at 59 and 84 respectively, Jerry Hall and her husband, Rupert Murdoch confirm this saying. While it was Murdoch’s fourth marriage, it was Hall’s first. But that has apparently made no difference as the couple has since continued to wow their fans with their deeply enviable old-age romance. Meanwhile, Jerry Hall is not just the wife of a world-famous business magnate. She has actually got a name to herself, having been a sought-after professional model in the 1970s.

Jerry Hall’s Bio (Age)

She was born as Jerry Faye Hall on the 2nd day of July 1956 in Gonzales, Texas, United States of America. Jerry, however, grew up in Mesquite, Dallas where her parents, John P. Hall and Marjorie (Sheffield) Hall respectively worked as a truck driver and medical records librarian.

Jerry Hall attended the North Mesquite High School, finishing at the young age of 16. She immediately left home for Paris, following her discovery by French VIP agency manager, Claude Haddad. By the time she turned 19, Jerry had started modeling, with her first modeling job being an appearance (as a mermaid) on the cover of Roxy Music’s 1975 album, Sirens.

In the following years, Hall’s modeling career boomed, with numerous jobs coming on her path. In just two years (1975-1977), she had already featured on the cover of 40 magazines, Vogue and Cosmopolitan inclusive, alongside other inside/minor appearances. She also modeled for Revlon and Yves Saint Laurent.

Just like many other models, Jerry Hall subsequently ventured into acting, making her debut in the 1980 romantic movie, Urban Cowboy. In 1989, she appeared in the superhero film, Batman. Hall later made her stage debut in 1990 at the Lyric Theater in a revival of Bus Stop. In 1993, she guest-starred in TV series, Cluedo and The Detectives.

In the subsequent years, Jerry Hall made appearances in several other works including films, TV series, reality shows, and stage productions. Some of them include Being Mick (2001), High Society (2005), Hotel Babylon (2007), and Love Letters (2012). In 2010, she published her autobiography titled, Jerry Hall: My Life in Pictures.
