Camp’s dad use to take him to the local prisons or boys’ homes to minister through words and music. Tom was the sole reason his son grew a close affinity to Christianity.

As a teenager his eyes were opened to the remarkable impact pastoring and ministering had on people’s lives. Prior to his role as a pastor, Tom was a worship leader.

He also taught the gospel singer how to play the guitar which sparked his passion for music and entertainment.

Teri and Tom made an appearance in an interview on the stage hosted by Sunrise Church Lafayette where they spoke about their son’s career and his upcoming documentary film.
