The daughter of Janice and Bob Lee, a former National Football League (NFL) quarterback, Jenna grew up in San Francisco with her brother Zac Lee, who followed their father into an NFL career.
After finishing high school, Jenna enrolled at the University of California, Santa Barbara, from which she earned a BA in English and global studies. She then furthered her studies at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, from which she graduated with a master’s degree in journalism in 2005.
Jenna’s career actually started in 2002, when she joined Marina Times, a San Francisco community newspaper, working as a freelance reporter in her free time. She then joined NY1 and also wrote for Forbes as a freelancer, until ultimately joining Forbes as a full-time writer. While at Forbes, she turned towards camera work too, and after a few successful projects, Jenna was recruited by the Fox Business Network, certainly boosting her net worth.
Starting in 2007, Jenna became the full-time employee at Fox Business Network and next to Nicole Petallides anchored “Fox Business Morning”. In the next couple of years, Jenna continued to develop her career on the Network, holding several positions including as a contributor to “Money for Breakfast”, and as anchor of the web show “FoxBusiness.com Live Morning Edition”, while also featuring in the show “Imus in the Morning”, once “Money for Breakfast” was cancelled in 2009. However, Jenna was popular enough to appear in Cosmopolitan magazine in the October edition, with a photo spread detailing her wardrobe strategy, which no doubt added somewhat to her bank account too.
Thanks to her great work, Jenna was then moved to the Fox News Channel to replace Jane Skinner in the show “Happening Now”, as its co-host with Jon Scott, in which position she remained for the next seven years, which significantly increased her net worth. However, in 2017 she decided to leave “Happening Now” and the Fox News Channel, stating a desire to pursue other projects and opportunities.
When it comes to her personal life, Jenna has been married to Lieutenant Commander Leif Babin – a decorated former US Navy SEAL Officer – since 2011; the couple has two children together, and the family currently lives in Texas.
