However, Wilson withdrew from the 2022 NBA draft and is pursuing his Master’s degree at the same uni, continuing his time with his varsity team as a junior.

The Jayhawks won the 2022 NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament with his gameplay. Hence, he was ultimately named Big 12 Player of the Year.

Meanwhile, he was named to the first All-American team on March 7, 2023.

Jalen Wilson Parents

Jalen Wilson was born to his parents, Lisa Johnson and Derale Wilson. Both his mom and dad are former athletes.

Lisa married Derale in 1997 and has been together with him since then. She introduced Jalen to basketball when he was four years old and taught him the way into the sport.

The Wilson couple had made a deal in which Lisa handled the post moves and shooting. In her February 2023 interview with KU Sports, the Kansas momma took credit for her son’s up-and-under move.

Lisa is active on Facebook, where she mainly shares her three sons’ athletic progress.

Jalen Wilson Siblings

Jalen Wilson has two siblings, both younger brothers in his family. They are named Jace and Jevin.

The Wilson boys have also followed into their bloodline and are progressing in their games.

Jace Wilson

The middle son of his parents, Jace, was born on November 29, 2003, in Denton, Texas. He attended Guyer High School just like his elder brother.

However, he did not choose to play basketball for a career but instead played football. He is a wide receiver for the University of Texas at San Antonio, aka UTSA men’s football team.

Jace stands tall at 6 feet 4 inches, a bit smaller than Jalen, who is 6 feet 8 inches. He was named a third-team all-district despite missing numerous regular season contests during his senior high school year.

He also helped his school team appear in the 2021 Class 6A Division II State Championship Game.

Jace is currently a redshirt freshman and out of the game. He is in a relationship with his high school sweetheart, Mariah Watson. He and Mariah are open about their romance and shares their cozy moments on Instagram.

Jevin Wilson

Jevin Wilson was born on May 28, 2010, in Texas. He is near his 13th birthday while he celebrated his last birthday at Great Wolf Lodge.

The family’s youngest member is inclined towards sports, just like everyone, and mainly enjoys having fun in the water. He swam with dolphins in July 2021 and did not miss attending his elder brothers’ games.

Jevin goes to sixth grade and is a middle schooler basketball athlete. He is a part of the Max Levels Elite, and they played at the John Lucas Tourney on March 6.

Lisa had driven from Austin to Houston to attend the game, indicating that the Wilson couple did not miss their son’s every game.

Thus, Jalen tributed his chest tattoo of “FAMILY” to his supportive parents and brothers.

Jalen Wilson Girlfriend

Jalen Wilson split with girlfriend Janae Bibby, in 2023. He and the volleyball player regularly posted their couple pictures on Instagram some time back.

However, they have deleted their pictures and unfollowed each other on the platform. Janae is the daughter of Mike and Darcy Bibby. Mike is the head coach and senior strategist for Fan Controlled Hoops (FCH).

He previously played as a point guard for 14 seasons with NBA teams, including Vancouver Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings, and Atlanta Hawks.
