The American historical adventure television series “Black Sails” is a prequel to Louis Stevenson’s “Treasure Island” novel. It offers a whole experience of a Drama, Adventure, Costume drama, Adventure fiction, and Action fiction.

Nina Heyns and Michael Bay produced the costume drama at the local production company Film Afrika. Likewise, it was shot in an actual location and a studio at Cape Town Film Studios in Cape Town, South Africa.

Furthermore, the series’ plot was focused on the central character, Captain Flint, which English actor Toby Stephens played. The story is about the tale of brilliantly-fierce Captain Flint, who has marked his name as the Golden Age pirate throughout the West Indies.

The central character’s action sequence and survival instinct further elevate the story, which was already giving goosebumps.
