Henry Wolfe Stop The Train Lyrics

[Verse 1]
For a while
All we did was smile
We laughed at our mistakes
Eating cake
To our hearts’ delight

[Verse 2]
But tonight
You lost your appetite
And someone’s gotta pay
But please take my advice

[Chorus]
Don’t throw this away
Don’t you throw it away
Because if you do
It’s you who’ll be crying

[Verse 3]
Honeypie
There’s something on my mind
Thought I must convey
A word to the wise

[Chorus]
Don’t throw this away
(Don’t you throw it away)
Don’t you throw it away
(Don’t throw it away)
Because if you do
It’s you who’ll be crying

[Bridge]
But once I’m gone
I won’t be back
You can’t stop the train
Once it’s rolled on down the track

[Chorus]
Don’t throw this away
(Don’t you throw it away)
Don’t you throw it away
(Don’t throw it away)
Because if you do
It’s you who’ll be crying

[Bridge]
But once I’m gone
I won’t be back
You can’t stop the train
Once it’s rolled on down the track
(Can’t stop the train)
You can’t stop the train
(Can’t stop the train)
You can’t stop the train
You can’t stop the train once it’s rolled away
