Why Was Fox News Gianno Caldwell’s Brother Christian Caldwell Shot To Death?

Gianno Caldwell’s brother, Christian Caldwell, was shot to death in Chicago. A 5-month-old baby was also killed throughout the brutal weekend, which began with the murder of Fox News political analyst Gianno Caldwell’s younger brother in Chicago on Friday.

Progressive communities around the country are grappling with increased crime. He said his adolescent baby brother was slain on the south side of Chicago. “He received a call telling me,” Caldwell disclosed on Twitter on Saturday.

“He never could have dreamed that his baby brother would have his life robbed from him,” he wrote, attaching a photo of his beaming sibling dressed for graduation. Local media claims that Christian Caldwell, 18, was shot dead and two other people were hurt after gunfire erupted in Morgan Park early on Friday morning.

Caldwell, a Fox News commentator, took time away from organizing his 18-year-old brother’s funeral on Monday to appear on TV and appeal for information on those who may have been responsible for the horrific Chicago shooting.

A spokesperson for the Chicago Police Department told Fox News Digital that as of Monday morning, no new information was available and that no one had been taken into custody about the shooting death of Caldwell’s 18-year-old brother, Christian, who was killed four days prior on the far South Side.

Where Is The Suspect In Christian Caldwell’s Murder Case?

The incident, according to Chicago’s ABC-7, happened at 2:06 a.m. in the Morgan Park area. Christian, Caldwell’s brother, was there at the location when a person in a black vehicle fired at them and raced away.

Multiple people were struck, the Chicago Police Department (CPD) confirmed to Fox News on Friday. After being struck in the torso, Christian was declared dead on the spot.

A male victim, age 31, who was in fair condition, was taken directly to the hospital. A 25-year-old woman who was shot in the leg is still in fair condition. According to police, the suspect drove away from the scene in a black van. There have been no detentions.

Police are searching for the suspects but still have not found anyone. Caldwell criticized Chicago’s “habit of violence,” as he put it. He claimed that although his brother was employed and eager to enroll in college, his life was tragically cut short.

Who Is Gianno Caldwell’s family?

Gianno Caldwell was born on December 27, 1986, in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up there with his older sister, two younger brothers—Christian and Matthew—and two younger brothers.

Gianno was raised in poverty because his mother was a cocaine addict. When Caldwell was 10 years old, he moved in with his grandmother, who was also unable to support him and his siblings.

But Gianno emphasized the importance of his father’s influence on him while teaching him the value of dressing appropriately, and Caldwell had dreams of becoming a clergyman or an elected person, but life had other plans for him.

He worked as a plumbing assistant alongside his father and grandfather before becoming an intern for the Social Security Administration. There, he met a woman who became both his godmother and one of his mentors.

He studied psychology at Chicago State University from 2005 to 2009, and after graduation, he transferred to Grand Canyon University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 2010.
