Errol Musk Wife and Children: Elon Musk

In 1970, Errol married his high school sweetheart, Maye Haldeman, a Canadian model, and dietitian. Elon, their first son, was born on June 28, 1971. Errol’s second son, Kimbal, was born a year later, and his daughter, Tosca, was born in 1974. Kimbal is now a well-known businessman, philanthropist, and restaurateur, while Tosca is a film producer and director.

In 1979, Errol and Maye divorced. Their sons then spent their weekdays with Elon and their weekends with Maye. Tosca was a toddler at the time and lived with her mother. Errol eventually married Heide-Mari, a widow with three children. They shared two daughters, Alexandra “Ali” Musk and Asha “Rose” Musk.

Errol Musk Stepdaughter

Musk’s relationship with his children, particularly Elon, has always made headlines. Elon has had a strained relationship with Errol, who has rarely spoken publicly about his father. Elon has described Errol as a terrible human being in the majority of his interviews.

The schism between father and son began soon after Errol divorced Maye. Errol’s terrible attitude toward life, as well as his scandals, exacerbated the schism. The relationship deteriorated when Errol made the scandalous revelation that he had fathered Jana Bezuidenhout’s child.

Errol married Jana’s mother, Heide, when she was only four years old. Although Errol revealed his relationship with Jana to the media, he had initially kept the relationship a secret.

He later revealed that Elliot Rush, his sixth child, was the result of an impulsive sexual relationship with Jana following her break-up with her boyfriend. Initially, it was assumed that Jana’s boyfriend was the father of her child, but Errol insisted on a paternity test, which revealed the truth.

He justified his actions by claiming that he never considered Jana to be his stepdaughter because she was raised apart from the family. After this scandalous revelation, Jana’s mother ended her 18-year marriage to Errol.

Musk has also admitted to having multiple mistresses. He also had a criminal charge against him at one point. He is accused of shooting and killing three of five burglars who attempted to break into his home.

Errol was later given a clean bill of health. Elon, on the other hand, has frequently expressed his disdain for Errol. Elon warned author Ashlee Vance not to trust his father’s statements while writing Elon’s biography.

In the biography, the author mentions that Errol was not introduced to Elon’s first child. Errol has responded to such comments by referring to Elon as a spoiled brat. Despite his hatred and disgust, Elon still sympathizes with Errol because he believes his father is lonely and sad.

He believes he inherited his father’s engineering abilities and refers to him as a brilliant engineer. Errol had funded Elon and Kimbal’s first software company, ‘Zip2,’ in 1995.

After the company prospered, Elon relocated Errol, his then-wife, and their children to Malibu. However, things did not go as planned, and Errol returned to South Africa. He now resides in Langebaan, Western Cape.
