As the 10th anniversary of The Hills approaches, the cast has been reflecting on their time on the show and revealing some surprising truths behind the famous storylines. One of the biggest revelations is that Lauren Conrad and Brody Jenner never actually dated, despite the on-screen chemistry they seemed to have. Conrad explained that they were always more friends than anything, and while they enjoyed each other’s company, they didn’t have the kind of chemistry that the producers wanted them to have.

Another shocking revelation is that Jen Bunney never hooked up with Brody Jenner at Lauren’s 21st birthday party, as the show portrayed. Spencer Pratt has even claimed to have evidence that nothing happened between them. He stated that the producers fabricated the storyline to create drama when things didn’t work out between Lauren and Brody.

It’s also been revealed that Audrina Patridge and Spencer Pratt never had a romantic relationship, despite what the show depicted. There were no dates or chemistry between them, and even the moment when Spencer surprised Audrina with flowers at Pinkberry was a set-up by the producers.

In Lauren’s final episode of The Hills, when Heidi and Spencer got married, it was made to look like Lauren was sad about the chapter of her life ending. However, she was actually furious because she had somewhere else to be, and the producers had locked her in the basement with a security guard, preventing her from leaving.

Heidi Montag’s desire to have a baby and her alleged attempt to trick Spencer into starting a family were also revealed to be false. Heidi clarified that starting a family wasn’t even a part of their plan at that time, and she never tried to deceive Spencer.

In another surprising twist, it turns out that the house next door to Spencer and Heidi, which was frequently shown on the show, actually belonged to a little boy named Enzo and his parents. Spencer and Heidi pretended to live there, while they actually resided at Spencer’s parents’ house in the Pacific Palisades.

Lastly, there was no feud between Kristin Cavallari and Audrina Patridge over Justin Bobby. In reality, Audrina was happily in another relationship off-camera, but she couldn’t reveal that due to the show’s storyline.

Looking beyond her time on The Hills, Lauren Conrad has focused on her fashion career. She has launched fashion lines such as LC Lauren Conrad and Paper Crown. Additionally, she has written nine books and co-founded The Little Market, an organization that supports fair trade and ethical products. In 2014, Conrad married William Tell, and they have two children together, Liam and Charlie.

As the cast reflects on their experiences on The Hills, it becomes clear that the show was heavily influenced by producers and scripted storylines. Nonetheless, it remains a significant part of pop culture history, and fans continue to reminisce about the iconic moments that made the show so memorable.
