David Walliams, the beloved comedian and author, has experienced a tumultuous romantic journey that has garnered the attention of fans and media alike. While his professional life has been marked by humor and success, his private life has been a subject of curiosity and fascination.

In 2010, David Walliams took a significant step in his personal life by marrying supermodel Lara Stone. Their union seemed like a match made in heaven, and their shared love for laughter appeared to be the foundation of their relationship. However, as time went on, the cracks in their marriage began to surface, ultimately leading to their separation in 2015. The divorce proceedings were marred by claims of “unreasonable behavior,” adding a layer of complexity to their already challenging situation. Despite the challenges, the couple co-parents their son, Alfred, born during their marriage.

The couple’s love story began in 2009 when they reportedly met at a Chelsea football match. Their first date left Lara Stone “very nervous,” but they quickly discovered that they shared a “very mean sense of humor,” forming a deep connection. Both David and Lara have achieved significant success in their respective careers, amassing a combined wealth approaching £20 million, with David’s net worth standing at £16.3 million and Lara’s at £2.6 million.

Their relationship moved swiftly, with an engagement just a year after they first met. A mere four months later, the couple exchanged vows in a lavish £80,000 ceremony at Claridge’s Hotel in London. The star-studded guest list included luminaries like Sir Elton John, Russell Brand, and Stephen Fry. However, the fairytale did not have a happily ever after ending.

The separation, which took place less than two years after the birth of their son, was undoubtedly a challenging period for both David and Lara. Eight years ago, Lara took responsibility for the divorce, officially citing “unreasonable behavior.” However, insiders suggested that it was Lara who initiated the legal separation, and David, for the sake of their son, agreed to it. The divorce was finalized within six weeks, and David Walliams expressed his reluctance to divorce, hoping they could work things out.

In July 2021, Lara Stone married David Grievson after finding love on the dating app Tinder in 2018. The couple confirmed their engagement in February 2020 and celebrated their love in a private ceremony. Since their divorce, David Walliams has been linked to several women, including Made In Chelsea star Ashley James, Hollywood actress Kate Beckinsale, Playboy model Emily Agnes, and Miss Norway contender Sylvia Flote. The comedian has expressed his desire to settle down and find love, reportedly joining the celebrity dating app Raya in pursuit of a meaningful connection.

As David Walliams navigates the complexities of love and relationships, he continues to entertain audiences with his humor and literary talents. While his quest for love unfolds, fans eagerly anticipate the next chapter in his personal life, hoping to see him find the happiness he brings to so many through his work.
