Daniel Rigmaiden Wikipedia

Daniel Rigmaiden was born in Seaside, California, and left home just after high school, living in a string of college towns up and down the coast.

He became an expert at making phony IDs and made a tidy profit selling them online to beer-obsessed college students. He ditched the college cities in favor of beach motels or a tent and rural camping spots.

He was imprisoned in May 2008 with an allegation of stealing money worth $68,000 while he used an AirCard. He was set free in 2014. After releasing from jail, Daniel started living in Phoenix.

Rigmaiden worked from prison to unravel decades of secrecy, eventually becoming the world’s foremost authority on the gadget Stingray, which had landed him in prison. A covert surveillance gadget and the apparatus that kept it hidden would be exposed to the public for the first time by the time he was finished.

Rigmaiden hit on another scheme, filing tax returns for the recently deceased which he liked because of its relatively victimless.

After US law enforcement used a secret cell phone surveillance gadget called Stingray to locate him inside his home, Daniel became a government transparency campaigner.

Before Daniel brought Stingray cell phone surveillance into the public eye in 2011, police enforcement kept the equipment hidden from judges, defense attorneys, and defendants, and would frequently utilize it without a proper warrant.

Daniel has also testified as a defense expert in cell phone surveillance cases in both federal and state courts.

He is a kind introvert and timid guy who loves enjoying the realms of nature. Sometimes he goes camping in a deep forest, some time for free climbing, and conquering cliffs.

According to theverge.com, Rigmaiden now lives a modest life and makes no money from his legal work. Instead, he had quit his telemarketing job.

The prominent fraudster is active on Facebook and Twitter where he keeps updating his life.
