Christopher Massey grew up in Georgia with his younger brother Kyle, who is also an actor and rapper. His career started when he was 12, with appearances in several commercials including for Cap’n Crunch, Pop Tarts, and McDonalds, among many others. Later, Christopher and Kyle appeared together in commercials for Burger King, Disney and Pepsi, all of which contributed to the start of their net worth.

Massey’s television career began in 2002 when he played in an episode of “The Parkers”, and he subsequently had minor parts in numerous TV series, before he was cast in a lead role in Nickelodeon’s Primetime Emmy-nominated series “Zoey 101” in 2005. Christopher played Michael Barret in all 65 episodes from 2005 to 2008, alongside Britney Spears’ sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. During that span, “Zoey 101” was the highest-rated and attracted the highest number of viewers of any show of the network, helping Massey to increase his net worth significantly.

In 2006, Massey appeared in an episode of “Everybody Hates Chris”, while in 2007, he was selected for the TV movie called “City Girls”. In 2009, he loaned his voice to various characters in Adam Elliot’s animation “Mary and Max”, and most recently, Massey played in an episode of “Switched at Birth” in 2012. All these projects helped considerably in raising his net worth.

Massey has also dabbled in music, forming a rather casual band called Massey Boyz, but they are still trying to compile enough tracks to release an album, although “Ridin Wit My Brother” was released as a single on YouTube in May 2009. One suspects that Christopher is anxious to spread his talent around, and not get bored with one medium, plus adding to his net worth.

Regarding his personal life, Christopher Massey dated Cassalei Jackson, but in April 2016 he was arrested for an alleged minor misdemeanor of domestic violence against her. Massey is good friends with Miley Cyrus, Chris Picard, Cole Sprouse, Destinee Monroe, and Paris Monroe.

He is also a StarPower Ambassador for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. His hobbies are skiing, basketball, and skateboarding.
