Booba Net Worth $14 million

Booba was born in the outskirts of Paris, and is French through his mother’s, and of Senegalese ancestry from his father’s side. Booba began his music career in 1994 when, alongside his friend Ali, he founded the rap duo Lunatic. Due to their rather controversial lyrics, they were unable to find a major label to release their music, so they founded their own, independent record label named 45 Scientific in 1999. In 2000, Lunatic released their only studio album “Mauvais œil”, which gained moderate acceptance from the audience as it peaked at No. 10 on the French Album Chart. This initial success provided the basis for Booba’s today’s quite impressive net worth.

After Lunatic split, Booba began pursuing a solo rap career, and in January 2002 released his debut solo studio album named “Temps mort”; it featured 17 songs and peaked at No. 2 on the French Albums Chart, a breakthrough in Booba’s career. This commercial success and being critically acclaimed, brought Booba a deal with major record label, Universal Music which has helped him to dramatically increase his wealth in total.

In 2004 his second studio album “Panthéon” hit the charts, peaking at No. 3, then following the previous successes, “Ouest Side” released in 2006 achieved platinum status, peaking at No. 1 on French Albums Charts and selling over one million copies. Since then, Booba has released six more studio albums, which have sold 10 million copies worldwide. In his rapping career, Booba has collaborated with several big names so far, including 50 Cent and Akon. These achievements have not only made Booba the most legally downloaded French musician ever, but they have also massively boosted the overall size of his current net worth.

Apart from music, Booba is an influential personality in French pop culture. His own clothing line Ünkut is one of the most popular and best-selling street-wear brands in France and wider. Some of these pieces were featured as downloadable add-ons exclusively for the Xbox 360 version of Saints Row video game. In 2003, Booba’s song “Tout c’qu’on connaît” was feature in the popular French action comedy “Taxi 3”. All these accomplishments have certainly made a positive impact on Booba’s wealth.

In his personal life, Booba has a daughter and a son with Patricia Vinces Cerqueira, but other details of his private life are just that!
