Bobby Zarin Wiki Biography

Born Robert F. Zarin on the 29th March 1946, in New York City, USA, he was a businessman, best known to the world as the owner and chairman of Zarin Fabrics and Home Furnishings, which was founded in 1936 by his father. He passed away in early 2018.

Have you ever wondered how rich Bobby Zarin was, as of early-2018? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Bobby Zarin`s net worth is as high as $9 million, an amount earned through his successful career as a businessman. The figure had been considerably higher, but falling business profits, and the cost of medical treatment eroded Bobby’s fortune somewhat. Also, he was a reality TV star, appearing alongside his wife Jill in the show “The Real Housewives of New York”.

Bobby Zarin Net Worth $9 Million

Little is known about Bobby`s early life and education, but as soon as he was old enough, Bobby joined his father`s company Zarin Fabrics and Home Furnishings, and started to make his way up in the firm. He became the owner soon enough, and thanks to that ownership he became a millionaire. Under his management, the firm became even more successful, and designed materials for dozens of production sets, such as “Gossip Girl”, “Sex And The City”, “Cashmere Mafia”, “Lipstick Jungle” and “What`s Your Sign Design”, among many others, which certainly increased his net worth. Nowadays the company owns numerous stores across the US, and will very likely continue to expand, and presumably become even more profitable.

As a result of his business success, Booby featured in the Bravo reality TV series “The Real Housewives Of New York City” from 2008 until 2011, being introduced into the series alongside his wife Jill Zarin, who of course was in the cast as a prominent housewife of a successful husband, although Jill also contributes to the company. Statistics indicate that their joint presence boosted the show’s ratings considerably, to the extent where Jill was offered $1 million to return, but declined to care for her ailing husband. These appearances also helped to directly increase Bobby’s his net worth somewhat, but no doubt the exposure also – at least indirectly – promoted his business as well.

Regarding his personal life, Bobby married to Jill in 2011, and together they raised Jill`s daughter Allyson from her first marriage to Bruce Shapiro. Also, their family includes Bobby’s three children from his marriage to his first wife, Eileen. He had survived thyroid cancer in 2009, having his thyroid removed, but a problem with remaining cancerous cells resurfaced in 2013, after which treatment has apparently at least put the potentially deadly disease in remission. However, a complete recovery was not to be, and Bobby passed away at the family home on 13 January 2018.
