Christophe started his career in the music industry in the 1980s, when he began doing DJ work under the name Chris the French Kiss, and used a lot of hip-hop as well as jazz music for his projects. He was responsible for the project The Mighty Bop and Reminiscence Quartet which featured an ensemble of musicians. During his time with the Quartet, he used the name Desmond K. His popularity and net worth started to increase thanks to all of these opportunities, and in 1994, Christophe decided to create his own label called Yellow Productions along with his friend DJ Yellow. Since then, they’ve signed other artists and slowly started to develop their own musical style.

Le Friant then adopted the new name Bob Sinclar in 1998, the name inspired by the film “Le Magnifique”. He started focusing more on house music with filtered and sampled disco strings, which became known as the “French touch”, popularizing a style of music that according to him, focuses on love and peace. His first album was “Paradise” which was released in 1998 and he followed it up with “Champs Elysees” two years later, released through Yellow Productions. Since then, he’s helped create several international hits which have elevated his net worth further. A lot of his music became very popular around Europe, including “Love Generation” which features Gary Pine, part of Sinclar’s album called “Western Dream” and which had one of the longest runs in the German Top 10. Another one of his popular songs is “World, Hold On” which features Steve Edwards.

In recognition of his achievements, Sinclar was awarded the TMF Award Best Dance International (Belgium) in 2006, but all of his endeavors continue to increase his net worth.
