Billie Joe Armstrong Net Worth $55 Million
Billie became familiar with music when he was just a small boy, as his father was a jazz musician, so there is a high chance that he had a huge influence on Billie’s choice of becoming a musician as well. When Armstrong was 10 years old he met Mike Dirnt, with whom he later created the band called “Sweet Children”. In 1989 they and John Kiffmeyer created the band known as “Green Day”, and in 1990 they released their first studio album, called “39/Smooth”, which had a huge impact on the growth of Billie Joe Armstrong’s net worth. Step by step their popularity grew and they gained more and more acclaim. Later “Green Day” released 10 more albums, including “Dookie”, “Warning”, “American Idiot”, “Nimrod”, “21st Century Breakdown” and others. All these albums added a lot to Armstrong’s net worth.
In addition, Billie has worked with such musicians as “The Go-Go’s”, “Ryan Adams”, “Rancid”, “Penelope Houston” and others. Billie is also a part of such projects as “The Network”, “Pinhead Gunpowder” and “Foxboro Hot Tubs”, which also makes Billie’s net worth higher.
As well as being a musician, Armstrong has also appeared in various television shows and movies, for example “Disease in Punishment”, “Heart Like a Hand Grenade”, “This is 40”, “The Voice”, “King of the Hill” and others. All these appearances also added a lot to Billie Joe Armstrong’s net worth. Undoubtedly, Billie is one of the most talented musicians at this time.
If to talk about Armstrong’s personal life, it can be said that in 1994 he married Adrienne Nesser, with whom he has two children. What is more, Armstrong has also announced that he is bisexual and this caused much discussions. Despite all of this, Billie is a perfect example to those who are afraid to talk about their sexuality and differences. All in all, Billie Joe Armstrong is an extraordinary personality with exceptional talent. He had to work really hard in order to achieve what he has now, but his work made him one of the most acclaimed modern musicians and songwriters.

| 1 | [on his female fans] They have got bad taste. I am not a good-looking guy. |
| 2 | I'm not as depressed as I used to be. The Prozac's working! |
| 3 | I never thought that being obnoxious would get me where I am now. |
| 4 | A lot of people, when they talk to me, I can't wait for them to shut up. Like, "Shut up. you're a moron". They have nothing to say, you know? |
| 5 | One thing I want to teach my son is sensitivity to other people. I want to teach him not to be this macho freak. |
| 6 | There's nothing wrong with being a loser, it just depends on how good you are at it. |
| 7 | Minority is about being an individual. It's like you have to sift through the darkness to find your place and be that individual you want to be your entire life. |
| 8 | Punk is always something that's going to be with us and to try and explain that would be stupid at this point. |
| 9 | [on the media] You know, I've made it a point not to read a thing. From what people have been telling me, everything has been really positive. Hey, it's the kids who are going to buy our records and they're not going to read things written in "Entertainment Weekly", anyway. Critics never really want to like my band. I think they have this thing up their asses that we are a lesser band now. They feel we weren't the originators of punk rock or we are not cool or whatever. So everything that comes from these people sounds somehow backhanded, like with the "Spin" piece. For a while we were a best -kept secret and for a long time none of these bigger magazines knew about Lookout Records or for that matter the Berkeley scene in general. At the time, I think that irritated them a bit. To them, if they don't know about it, it obviously wasn't cool enough to begin with. |
| 10 | [on what he would like to do instead of music] I've done some producing, that I can do. But acting for me, I'm pretty sure I don't know how to do that. I really don't want to go through a process of trying to figure out how to do it. I think as soon as you start acting that realness of you that people love is gone because you're pretending to be something else on screen. |
| 11 | I sound like an Englishman impersonating an American impersonating an Englishman. |
| 12 | A guy walks up to me and asks, "What's Punk?". So I kick over a garbage can and say. "That's punk!". So he kicks over the garbage can and says, "That's Punk?", and I say, "No that's trendy!" |
| 13 | My mom was from Oklahoma, hence the name Billie Joe . . . It's not William Joseph, it's "just" Billie Joe. |
| 14 | You think your life is tough? Try being a parent! |
| 15 | School is practice for the future, and practice makes perfect. But nobody's perfect, so why practice? |
