Biography of Baker Mayfield, Age

Former Texas Tech and Oklahoma Baker quarterback Reagan Mayfield was born on April 14, 1995 in Austin, Texas. He was born to his parents James Mayfield and Gina Mayfield. His only known sibling is an older brother named Matt Mayfield who plays baseball. His interest in football was shown when he was still tender.

Baker Mayfield had a high school education at Lake Travis High School and played football with the school’s football team – the Cavaliers. His record with the team stands out as he finished with the Cavaliers with impressive stats: 6,255 passing yards, 8 interceptions and 67 touchdowns. He also helped the team win the 4A State Championship in 2011 with a remarkable 25-game winning streak in 27 games.

College and NFL Career

His encouraging stats in high school meant BakerMayfield would continue his college football career. As a result, he enrolled at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and played as a quarterback for the Red Raiders. His performance in his freshman season – where he moved straight into the starting XI after an injury to starter Michael Brewer – earned him the title of Offensive Player of the Year in the Conference Big 12 category. . However, Mayfield is reportedly looking to trade Texas Tech for Oklahoma following disagreements with team management.

He transferred to the University of Oklahoma in 2014 and spent the entire season as he was deemed ineligible to play for the Oklahoma Sooners due to Big 12 Conference transfer rules. He became the favorite quarterback of the 2015 season after beating Trevor Knight in an open contest for the spot. He led the Sooners to victory over Auburn in his final year at the 2017 Sugar Bowl. In the same season, he won the Heisman Trophy with a landslide, becoming the only player to win the award.

In the 2018 NFL draft, Baker Mayfield made the first round of the draft and he was selected by the Cleveland Browns with the first overall pick. His rookie deal with the Browns is a 4-year deal worth $33.1 million with a signing bonus of $21.9 million.

Who is Baker Mayfield’s Girlfriend?

Baker Mayfield is not only a fantasy football talent ready to take the NFL by storm, the quarterback is also a handsome and very handsome young man. It is certainly the toast of many ladies who wish they could be their turn. Her growing fame has sparked a lot of curiosity about her personal and love life. Questions have arisen and fans are dying to know who is the woman who captured the heart of this hunk.

Mayfield is currently engaged to his girlfriend of a few months named Emily Wilkinson. She is a model and Instagram star who resides in Los Angeles and works at a plastic surgery center in Beverly Hills as a patient coordinator.

The couple captured the moment they got engaged and shared for their fans on Instagram. After their engagement, Wilkinson leaves her job in Beverly Hills, California, to settle in Cleveland where she will be with her man.

Many people who have been following the Cleveland Brown quarterback’s relationship timeline may have a hard time reconciling the name of the lady above as he was once known to have a relationship with a lady named Morgan Mayberry. The move to Emily Wilkinson seems brutal, because there’s no telling that a breakup has happened, and there’s no reason to announce it.

Mayfield met Mayberry while in college – the University of Oklahoma – as their photos and their relationship, announced to the public in September 2016 in an Instagram post, suggest. There is so little information about Mayberry, suggesting that Mayfield left her because she was “classless”, however, she is known to have been an Oklahoma sorority while in college.

Height and Other facts

As mentioned earlier, Baker Mayfield is a hunk, and he has a good physique too. As you’d expect, fans are always very eager to hear all they can about the celebrities they’ve recently reunited with, and Mayfield falls into that category. The former Oklahoma quarterback is 6 ft 1 in (1.85 m) tall and weighs 215 lbs (98 kg).

Mayfield’s transfer from Texas Tech to Oklahoma caused a big ripple in NCCA transfer rules. Previous rules required players transferred from one institution offering four-year programs to another to forfeit a football season. But Mayfield appealed the decision on the grounds that he was a non-scholarship Texas Tech player. And even though his appeal was denied, a change was made to the rule in June 2016, consistent with Mayfield’s arguments. Today, this rule is widely referred to as the “Baker Mayfield Rule”.
