To begin with, he was raised in the Fillmore district of San Francisco, and was educated at the Galileo Academy of Science and Technology but left due to poor grades. Afterwards, Andre Nickatina decided to pursue a career as a hip hop artist, and soon appeared on the stage.

He debuted as the hip hop artist Dre Dog, as a member of the hip hop band entitled I.M.P.in 1992, but after they released the studio album “Back in the Days” (1993), Dre Dog decided to pursue a solo career. The same year he released his first solo album – “The New Jim Jones” (1993) – and although it failed to enter the charts the rapper was very enthusiastic about his career. Subsequently, his second studio album “I Hate You with a Passion” (1995) managed to reach 7th position on Billboard Heat and 79th position on the Billboard R&B charts. In 1997, the hip hop artist decided to change his stage name and released the studio album “Cocaine Raps” (1997) under his new name Andre Nickatina, however, this made little difference and did not bring success. The above mentioned album as well as the following ones – “Raven in My Eyes” (1998), “Tears of a Clown” (1999), “Daiquiri Factory: Cocaine Raps, Vol. 2” (2000) and “These R the Tales” (2000) – did not enter the music charts.

In 2003, Andre released “Conversation with a Devil: Cocaine Raps, Vol 3” which actually reached 3rd position on the Billboard Heat chart. Afterwards, the rapper recorded the studio albums “Bullets, Blunts In Ah Big Bankroll” (2004), and “Booty Star: Glock Tawk” (2007). In 2010, the album “Khan! the Me Generation” took 40th position on the Billboard R&B chart, but his most successful album so far is “Andre Nickatina” (2013), which topped the Billboard Heat chart, as well as making it to the 12th position on the Billboard Heat seekers chart, and 46th on R&B chart. It should be mentioned that he produced all his albums, and all the above mentioned engagements have added sums to the total size of Andre Nickatina net worth and popularity.

Finally, in the personal life of the rapper, he does not reveal much about his private life. Andre claims to be single, and the hip hop artist still resides in San Francisco.
