Following her temporary return to the United States for her recovery, rumors started making rounds on the internet that she has terminated her contract with the group because she was too fat. After the video where Kyla was allegedly spotted working as a vendor at a funfair in Los Angeles went viral after she went back to the United States for medical treatment, some K-netizens and Pristin fans started to abuse and attack her for her appearance, weight gain and negligence, of which Pledis Entertainment didn’t defend her enough.
